Looking for a scenic half marathon in Scotland? Join us for the Water of Leith Half, one of Edinburgh’s most iconic and enjoyable running events. Now in its 27th year, this point-to-point half marathon follows the winding path of the Water of Leith, taking runners from the edge of the Pentlands right down to Leith.
This unique Water of Leith race is kept deliberately small – we expect no more than 200 runners – to minimise impact on the pathways and preserve the natural beauty of the route. It's a handicapped race; the slowest runners will start at 9.30am.
